GTA 6 beer is real, on paper: Pißwasser, Patriot and No Mames Vice City get US label approval

A Doral brewery near Miami has had three GTA-themed beer labels approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, including Pißwasser and Patriot from the series. Nobody has said they are going on sale. Here is what the public filings show.

Short answer: three GTA beers now have legal US labels. Whether you will ever drink one is another question, and nobody has answered it yet.

What the filings show

Confirmed, from the public label database of the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB): Tripping Animals Brewing, a craft brewery in Doral, Florida, just outside Miami, has had three labels approved.

  • Pißwasser, approved September 29, 2026. The series' long-running beer joke, reported at 4.2% ABV.
  • No Mames Vice City, approved October 9, 2026. A 6% lager; the label shows a dog in sunglasses with a gold Vice City chain against a pink and purple sunset, with GTA VI branding.
  • Patriot, approved October 15, 2026. The series' flag-waving lager, reported at 4.2% ABV.

Keg labels for all three were filed too. Fans spotted the approvals in the database and published them on October 20.

What a label approval means

Less than it sounds. In the US, a brewery needs an approved label before it can sell a beer across state lines. An approval says the design is allowed. It does not mean the beer has been brewed, priced or shipped.

Is it official?

Not confirmed. The No Mames Vice City label carries GTA VI branding, but neither Rockstar nor Tripping Animals has announced a collaboration, and Rockstar's own GTA VI page says nothing about beer.

Our guess: a brewery would not normally put GTA VI branding on a label without a deal, and this looks like part of the same Miami push as the Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell stands at the Kaseya Center. A local brewery, a Vice City label and a launch under four weeks away is a lot of coincidence.

Where would you buy it?

Nobody knows. Bar exclusives in Miami, a launch-week event, online sales: all possible, none announced. If a release is announced, it will almost certainly be local to Florida first.

Pißwasser, briefly

Pißwasser has been the series' beer gag for years: a German-sounding lager whose name you should not translate at the dinner table. Patriot has been its all-American rival on billboards and in bars. Seeing both on legal paperwork is the kind of joke Rockstar likes best, the one that turns out to be real.

We will update this story if Rockstar or the brewery announces a release. Until then, the beer is a label and nothing more. Our Database will list every in-game brand from launch day.

GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-load opens November 12.
