Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga: GTA 6's sugar-refinery town and the hills Rockstar calls Red Dead country
Two confirmed regions give GTA 6 its interior: Ambrosia, an industrial town built around a sugar refinery and run by a biker gang, and Mount Kalaga, forested highlands and a national park at the northern edge of the state. What is known about each.

Leonida is not all coast. Two of the six confirmed regions sit inland and give the map its working interior and its wilderness, and they could not be more different from Vice City.
Ambrosia
Rockstar calls Ambrosia the heart of Leonida, and it is an industrial one: a gritty town built around the Allied Crystal sugar refinery, shown in Rockstar's official screenshots amid flat cane country. The refinery is the economy; a local biker gang reportedly runs most of what it does not. For the mood, the fan film Most Wanted MC Member in our vault is a fair guess at the kind of character who runs this town. Expect Ambrosia to be where the conspiracy that drives the story gets its muscle.
Mount Kalaga
At the northern edge of the state the land rises into forested highlands and a national park: dirt trails, hunting camps, cabins, people living off the grid and, in Rockstar's description, fringe locals. Hunting, fishing and off-roading are the activities Rockstar lists for it, which makes Mount Kalaga the closest a Grand Theft Auto has come to Red Dead Redemption 2's terrain. The Extended Look's dirt bikes, kayaks and fishing belong here as much as anywhere.
The interior and the whole
Between the sugar country and the hills runs the rest of the state: the Grassrivers wetlands to the south-west, the Gulf coast with Port Gellhorn, Vice City on the Atlantic side, and the Keys trailing off the bottom. Rockstar has not published a map or a size, and community estimates of 1.5 to 2 times GTA V's area remain estimates. What the trailers make clear is the range: a glass downtown and a refinery town and a national park, in one state, with the drive between them part of the game. The map page has every region and the confirmed-versus-community key.

Ten days to Halloween, so Bama goes back through the ghost on Mount Gordo, the killer who kept count on the rocks, the cannibals up Chiliad, the thing in the ice, and the night folk in Red Dead's bayou, then looks at the Grassrivers screenshots and asks what Rockstar might have put out there after dark.
